Buying very different products online lets you bundle frozen foods, creative accessories, car equipment or even a fast 3D printer into a single order. However, this variety makes comparison trickier. A well-presented product page can hide an unsuitable size, storage constraints or missing accessories that aren’t included in the box.
Before you check out, three pitfalls deserve your attention:
For frozen Asian food as well as frozen seafood, the grade directly affects presentation and cooking time. Tiger prawns graded 13/15 are classified by the number of pieces per unit of weight: the lower the number, the larger the prawns tend to be. Conversely, scallops graded 120/150 are better suited to stir-fries, soups and sauces that call for smaller portions.
Always check:
Frog legs graded 6/8 and 13/15 are not used in the same way. A larger grade works better for pan-frying or grilling, while a smaller size fits easily into a soup or a stir-fry.
A frozen product must be kept at –18 °C or below, in line with the instructions on the packaging. Make room in your freezer before delivery and check the condition of the packaging as soon as it arrives. ESCAL garlic and parsley snails are ready to cook, but must be cooked through following the manufacturer’s instructions. They contain molluscs, milk and celery.
For scallops without coral, defrosting in the fridge gives a more even cook. Once defrosted, they should be eaten quickly and must not be refrozen. The same rule applies to prawns, squid and other seafood.
For dried spices, the precautions are different. Star anise should be stored in a cool, dry place. Used whole in a marinade, stock or stew, you’ll need to remove it before serving.
For arts and crafts, don’t stop at the number of colours. The STAEDTLER Calligraph Duo 3005 calligraphy pens each have two tips and use water-based pigmented ink. Storing them horizontally and replacing the caps helps prevent the tips from drying out.
For a fast 3D printer, compare instead:
For a tyre pressure gauge, the measurement range, stated accuracy and included fittings are far more telling than a vague comfort claim. The ETENWOLF T500 model states a range of up to 250 PSI and comes with connectors and adaptors for different uses.

For a celebratory meal, scallops without coral in grade 20/30 give you lovely pieces for pan-frying. The 120/150 size fits more easily into sauces and everyday dishes. Garlic and parsley snails are already prepared, but must be cooked through.
On the creative side, the STAEDTLER Calligraph Duo 3005 set includes 12 dual-tip pens, suitable for cards, invitations and lettering projects. To vary your Asian recipes, compare frog legs, pineapple-cut squid and prawns, taking into account the grade, weight and allergens.
Check the delivery conditions and plan to transfer the products to your freezer quickly. On receipt, make sure the packaging is intact and the contents are still fully frozen. Then follow the temperature stated on the label.
The cost of use depends mainly on the filament, electricity consumption, wear parts and maintenance. A high speed doesn’t mean you can skip choosing the right material or properly setting the bed and temperature.
Go for a readable model with a measurement range suited to your vehicle’s tyres and a compatible fitting. A device supplied with several accessories can save you from buying a connector or adaptor separately.
